This magazine and its so called Editor-in-Chief Ryan O'Meara a fanciful title for what was a second rate quarterly mag. He has lied, libeled, and defamed my character and good name . This happened because I had the temerity to question the quality of his magazines advice. My concerns were about what I believe was nothing less than dog abuse, seriously flawed advise, and cruelty.
I would not advise anyone to take any advice from anything Ryan O'Meara is involved in. He is not a dog trainer and is certainly not a behaviourist and has no formal qualifications in any of these roles and does not have a practice or school in any of these disciplines.and his advice is frankly ludicrous and dangerous.
K9 Magazine and Ryan O'Meara.have made allegations against me. Which are meant to harm my position and standing as a full time professional behaviourist and dog obedience trainer with many thousands of clients. Including billionaires, royalty, actors, sports and top showbusiness personalities.
My Website and its content is testament to my ability and expertise. My rankings in Google are also a very strong guide to the quality of my advise and the depth of my knowlege
.
Try and find anything that O'Meara has produced or written that has anywhere near the same impact quality or depth.
I totally and utterly refute these scurrilous and bullying accusations. I have called both Ryan O'Meara and his web of online organisations called "K9 Media" liars in print and in public. What other organisation would allow that slur without recourse to the courts? Only an organisation that has lied about the facts.
It is simply a vendetta against me because I insisted he remove all my articles, my name and work from his magazine and media companies. I also insisted he removed me from their panel of experts, as I was not prepared to sully my good name with this organisation.
Their advice and knowledge of dogs is both pitiful and dangerous. The Latest news on this man and his organisations is they have stopped printing K9 Magazine and it is just another E Mag like the other many dreary thousands on the Internet.
He has been shunted out of the position of chief executive of K9 Magazine and appears to be trying to launch another on line Mag called Total Dog Magazine. I tried to find out more about Total Dog but the piece has been suspended. See here Telegraph. I wonder why?
At present I do not know if he or one of his companies owns this new magazine or they are just promoting it. What I am concerned about i is that they are being supported by Butchers Tripe a company who manufacture a well known brand of dog food. are Butchers aware that Ryan O'Meara and K9 Magazine advises feeding young dogs up to their eyeballs, with the resultant obesity and early death that would cause.
Sign up to anything that he is involved in and you would be supporting a bullying individual and an organisation that supported an individual posting videos on their forum that would sicken most right minded people.
You would also be supporting advise on overfeeding young dogs. Which they promoted and recommended despite the fact I have written to them and supplied information that they are wrong, by one of the Worlds leading experts. An expert that they have acknowledged was a highly credible source. Just how dangerous and foolish are K9 magazine/K9Media and their advice?
Some people may be Googling my name and coming up with K9 Magazine, Dog Magazine.net, Dognews.co uk, Dogchat and K9 Media plus a number of other organisation with the same information.
They are all the same organisation.
Despite the subterfuge of using different names that tries to suggest they are coming from different sources, using headlines such as "Stan Rawlinson Complaints Rise". All the complaints are from the same organisation owned by the same people. That in itself shows just how devious, dishonest and vicious these small minded people are.
The reasons for their attack is simple. I exposed them and their MD on K9s forum for not censoring what I personally believe was cruelty and dog abuse. And for publishing advice in their magazine K9 and on their online magazine that was in my opinion foolhardy and dangerous to our pets. I resigned from K9s panel of experts and their forum. And insisted they removed all my articles.
Two other professional trainers resigned at the same time because of the dangerous advice and the behaviour and dog abuse allowed by the controllers of that forum, who are Ryan O'Meara, K9 Magazine and K9 Media.
It is not just the fact of the shock, prong, and choke collars that were being used in home made videos. But the way they were used and abused without censor or concern from what bills itself as a magazine that cares about the welfare of our pets.
This organisations websites and forum is where individuals made recommendations and showed DVD clips using shock, prong, and choke collars, even on pups and a disabled dog. This behaviour was ignored by the K9 team. The moderator who is also the MD, Ryan O'Meara, thereby by relationship K9 Magazine and all their other owned subsidiaries.
They supported and gave the oxygen of publicity to the perpetrators of what could only described as animal cruelty. These people were encouraged to air and show their disgusting training tactics on O'Meara's forum.
Ryan O'Meara
even suggested ignoring manufacturers guidelines on the use of shock collars on aggressive dogs. DVD clips were shown and allowed by a contributor Dennis Carthy with a Doberman with shock collars, one on the neck and the other on the groin. He also showed clips of a partially blind and deaf dog being shocked by an electronic collar. That made me feel sick to my stomach.
In the end they had to ban Dennis Carthy from their forum. Not for the lies and cruelty, but for sending indecent material of a sexual nature to a 13 year old little girl that posted on their forum. She should never have been allowed on such a forum in the first place.
Let me make it perfectly clear, It is not acceptable to use pain, fear, and subjugation to train a dog! It is not just the tools they used but the methods and the dogs they used them on.
K9 and its organisations are trying to denigrate and destroy me because I stood up and was counted. I have always fought cruelty, abuse and stupidity. However large the organisation. I will not stop now, just because they are attacking me.
I do not use the word liar lightly. I am aware that if I use it and it is not true then I could be sued for libel and defamation. I have asked them to sue me over my statements needless to say these bully boys didn't have the bottle. I am therefore suing them and I do have the bottle.
Those who know me well are aware I will not shirk naming any organisation or individual that I believe is having a serious detrimental effect or is abusing or allowing others to abuse our pets. O'Meara recently offered to remove all the slurs and lies about me if I removed the rebuttal. I refused as I need this man and his organisations to be shown up for what they are.
Stan Rawlinson
I have now been accused of misleading clients by credential deception
Once again the cyber bully Ryan O’Meara has attempted to attack me through his online magazine and K9 media companies including K9 Magazine. He wrote to the BBC whining about how I had stated I was a behavioural spokesman, suggesting I was trying to say I was an employee of the BBC.
The first time that I appeared on the BBC and I have been on many times, I believe I was introduced as a dog behavioural spokesman and canine communication expert. I therefore listed down what I was introduced as.The BBC contacted me saying that it could possibly be construed in some peoples minds as a spokesman working for the BBC. I thought no more of it and changed spokesman to expert, which on reflection is a far better term.
They then wrote to me again and acknowledged that they were more than happy for me to list down the BBC in my credentials as appearing on their program as a behavioural and dog training expert on numerous occasions.
Of course I do not work for the BBC. I am a professional full time dog behaviourist and obedience trainer. I was there because I have written many important articles on dog behaviour from Spaying and Neutering to Cocker Rage Syndrome and Killing with Kindness. I have recently wrote an article about the Alpha Myth about how we may be getting all out training wrong and why. I was there because I actuall know what I am talking about after 30 plus years experience.
This man claims even now that he is a dog trainer. Yet under his CV it says he stopped being a trainer after a whole four years in the business, that was 12 years ago. Four years! I doubt you are past the stage of clearing the dogs mess up after just that time. Especially as he did not do it off his own back, but off the back of some unnamed dog expert.
I used to be in the Army. I spent ten years in total in the forces. But I do not claim to be a soldier now. He even sneered at the fact that I served Queen and Country. Many bullies when faced with being found out lash out, just like our current Government who tried to smear General Sir Richard Dannatt for speaking out on behalf of his brave men fighting abroad in terrible conditions. O'Meara and these MP's are not fit to clean the boots of people that actually have served Queen and Country. To sneer atsomeone that actually served is reprehensible.
So why is he claiming he is a trainer when he is not? and just who is this unnamed world expert trainer he worked for, why can he not name him? Perhaps this individual wants no links to this disgraceful self publicist. But why would someone claim to be working with a world renowned trainer yet not name the person?
The same man, Ryan O'Meara went on the BBC heavily promoting the pet insurance industry, without presumably bothering to mention that one of his companies is a company called Insurance4pets.com.
What a pity Ryan O'Meara appears to have forgotten to say to the general public, and even to the BBC that his K9 Media Company could possibly make huge profits out of his recommendations.
Now that is what I would call a credential deception.
Just a little A bit different than saying "acting as a behavioural spokesman and changing it to expert"
As a matter of Interest O'Meara stated that he had talked to the BBC and they will never use me again. This man is clearly deluded and imagines he has some contacts or sway with the BBC.
For his information I was on the BBC News twice recently in their studios at White City, talking about Tesco's decision to ban sheepdogs in some New Zealand abattoirs because they claimed the dogs caused the meat to be tainted!
O'Meara has now sneered at the very people that pay his inflated wages of which he constantly brags. That is you if you use any of his companies services or sites See More And HERE you can see how the Gerald Ratner of the dog World got it totally wrong again. It beggars belief.
