This is a statement from Ryan O’Meara MD of K9 Media who earns his living from K9 Magazine and many other dog related companies. Has bragged online that he bathes in champagne, drives home in his Porsche to sleep on a bed of used sequential banknotes.

Remember these are your banknotes he is talking about, if you use any of his K9 media outlets you may wish to consider his following statement.

“Those who seek acceptance and respect from 'the dog world' tend to be terminally retarded to the point where they become obsessed about what people say or think about them and they end up behaving like rabid, schizophrenic daleks with a one track, monotonous drone about dog related stuff that nobody in the real world gives a toss about.”

I for one do not intend to ever line this mans grubby pockets with my honest hard earned money. I will not be buying his magazine nor purchasing any of his services nor would I ever recommend or advise people to get involved with him.

He has been boasting about how he going to be breaking into other areas and numerous countries.

After what I have been through for just resigning from writing articles for them and getting them to remove me from their panel of experts. I would strongly recommend that before getting involved with this man and his fancy little group of cyber companies, that you may just wish to investigate his background and his claims just a little bit deeper.

Below are some of the companies he is using to attack me. By their content and different names they are trying to suggest they are all independent from each other, until of course you look further and realise they are all the same organisation. He posts Complaints Rise against Stan Rawlinson

But of course fails to point out that all the complaints are his alone. As far as I can ascertain and I intend to take legal advise this may be deemed as fraudulent and a misuse of his position and companies.

Even if it is not illegal it could be deemed morally dishonest. I will certainly be contacting the Press Complaints Commission, even though he has not signed his company K9 Magazine up to their code of conduct. Why does that not surprise me.

This individual and his organisations are nothing but vicious little bullies that do not brook argument or dissent about their practices and supposed knowledge regarding dog behaviour, which is scant. O'Meara appears to have no educational qualifications or formal study regarding dogs or behaviour, yet he is spouting advice that people may think is from an informed and professional behaviourist.

Be warned deal with them or follow their advice with great care.

This is his latest rant. Anyone think this man is sane? when I posted about him despising the dog world.

I stand by every last word of that quote and am more proud of it now than I was when I wrote it. Stan, you see, can’t get his head round this fact - NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO BE PART OF THE ‘DOG WORLD’.

I couldn’t give a rat’s backside about ‘the dog world’. I am a DOG OWNER. First, foremost and always. The ‘dog world’ is something that people Stan care about. It’s a place full of ego maniacs who seek acceptance and public acknowledgement through……wait for it……dogs!!

It’s absolutely ludicrous. I care about dogs. End of debate. I care not one jot about ‘the dog world’. I do not seek to exhibit, I attend hardly ANY dog related trade events or shows or any of that stuff. It doesn’t interest me. I am interested in dogs and I enjoy the company of dog owners. The ‘dog world’ can go to hell. I don’t care. The REASON I started a dog magazine like K9 Magazine is BECAUSE I don’t care about the dog world. I wanted a magazine that focused on dogs and published articles that did not pander to ‘the dog world’. We don’t. We never have. So when those who feel like their place in ‘the dog world’ means something, I have news - it doesn’t mean jot. Give me ordinary, normal, every day dog owners any day of the week - NOT ‘the dog world’.

Does that give you a feeling for the man? It should do, I took a look at K9 recently and I see he is still abusing posters that question his articles.

What concerns me is he has still promoting articles that he has been told are dangerous and incorrect. How can he state that he"cares about dog" He cares about the money that they bringing in. So he can brag about the money he earns and the Porsche he drives to work and thae fact he bathes in champage.

I have beat up 4x4 because I own four dogs. How does he get his dogs in a Porsche. Bet they are left at home!

I have been personally training dogs longer than this vindictive unprofessional man has been alive. how long would you imagine he was a Professional Dog Trainer? According to his CV it states he started in 1994 and finished in 1998. Four whole years! It takes a minimum of seven years to even scratch the surface, and he is still calling himself a Dog Trainer, despite giving up that role 12 years ago. Now that is what I call lies and deception.

I would ask one question? How can anyone who states his companies have the best interests of dogs at heart and furthermore states he is a dog lover condone and support the stipidity and cruelty that he allowed on his forum of which he and his companies controlled and moderated?

This man is a control freak yet he is now saying he cannot be expected to police what goes on in his OWN forum. Gives us a break. if you saw a dog being abused on a video would you ignore it.
