The Dog Store Hampton Hill

The Doglistener Dog Store
We Now Stock Fish4Dogs Bella Duke and Paleo Ridge

The Dog Store 30 High Street Hampton Hill TW12 1PD

I have sold my specialised dog training aids and techniques that actually work for our dogs for many years.

They include my famous training aid the Jingler that can trains dogs in minutes rather than days or weeks

Unfortunately, they were only available online from my website, and to some extent, you could not feel or even see the quality of all my range of products.

You could not buy or view them in pet shops  or in most cases anywhere else except on my online store

I felt it was time that I opened a physical shop where you can test the goods, try them on and see the quality at first hand

I manufacture my own brand of treats, leads and collars for all sizes of dogs.

I only will only ever sell products that I believe to be ethical and most of my goods are made in the UK.

My Dog Store is a new innovation, It will mainly be related to dogs but e will have a small cat section and some small animal goods for Hamster and Guinea Pigs etc

I envisaged a store that is for dogs only and that is what I have created initially in Sheen but we have now moved to The Dog Store 30 High Street Hampton Hill TW12 1PD.

We are shutting Sheen on the 30th of August and hope to fully open Hampton Hill on Saturday 19th September

I will be adding many more products than were available from my online store. I will be stocking quality crates, harnesses, and a full range of my famous dog leads but with a far wider choice to choose from.

Opening hours Monday to Saturday  9.30 am-5.30 pm

I will also be there on some days of the week and as one of the UK's Leading Dog Behaviourists, I can give you advice on your dogs and puppies. I can also demonstrate how the Jingler works. Though if you want me to stop your dogs pulling on the lead or jumping up etc there will be a nominal charge of £40.00. Only payable if I am successful. See video at the bottom of this page.

Given that until I retired three years ago I was charging £1250 for a two-hour behavioural session and everyone thought that was value for money for what I could do in that time. I, therefore, think that is extremely reasonable. If you do have a problem dog and wish to speak to me then phone and make sure I am in on that day.

Other new products will iI stock is what I believe are the best supplements for joints, pain relief for our older dogs nor just high energy dogs that need that extra help when working or agility

At the other end of the scale is the pregnant mothers and of course the puppies themselves. Therefore I now stock the finest puppy weaning porridge with a vast array of vitamins and vital minerals in that compound.

I fed my own pregnant dog on the specialised porridge in week six of her pregnancy and of course, at 3.5 weeks the pups were weaned on this porridge

My own dogs have been fed on these supplements for over 3 years now. And the litter of puppies were quite amazing because of it

The dog I kept back out of the litter is called Gunner he is the one with the white collar on the picture right and is shown in the picture above two years later.

This is Fizz and her pups the day after birth, she looked fabulously healthy and just look at the coats on the one-day-old pups. they shine with vigour.

I also had no runt of the litter. I believe that was because of with care I took with the mother whilst she was pregnant see my article (1) The Pregnant Dog

I have added to my extensive range of ethical Doglistener Air-Dried Dog Treats only available from me and let me remind people that these treats are unique as they must adhere to my strict guidelines.

They now include Rabbit Ears with Fur and Beef Scalp with Fur and they are natures natural dewormers, as they remove the eggs and worms as they sweep through the digestive system.

For me to accept the treats I  needed to be able to guarantee their provenance and I required the producers to fulfil my ethical criteria.

For them to fulfil those requirements, they had to be from free-range animals.

All grown as nature intended with no growth hormones, steroids, or antibiotics and non-halal and from EU regulated livestock.

They also had to be totally natural without any additives colourants or even spices.

They also must be from human-grade animals, not the so-called 4-D meat that gets its name from diseased, dying, disabled and dead livestock, deemed unfit for human consumption.

Once I had found suitable suppliers from only EU countries which have stringent requirements regarding animal husbandry I had one final condition.

I did not want them stocked in warehouses for years before getting to my shelves.

Come and visit me in the new store in Hampton Hill though I will not be there every day  I will give free advice on behavioural or training problems

If you have a training problem like jumping up, pulling on the lead or other easy to cure training issues then I can normally sort them out very quickly in the store.

I charge a nominal fee of £40.00 for working with your dogMoney goes towards funding my petition on to change the law on dog theft to make it a specific offence to steal a do You will get a free packet of Fish4dogs fish skins and you can test the treats that I sell on your dogs if you bring them with you.

See the short video at the bottom of this page with me working with some of the dozens of dogs I have seen over the last few weeks.

My Daughter Louise is also a trainer and runs my puppy classes. If  Louise and I do not know or are unable to help you with your training problems then I would be amazed. The address of the store is The Dog Store, 30 High Street, Hampton Hill Greater London TW12 1PD Literally 150 yards from Paws for Coffee. Phone 020 8977 2019

I just wanted to say thank you for the invaluable help obtained from your website.

My husband and I live with a delightful 15 month old Welsh border collie puppy, Cai, who is highly intelligent and easily bored! Although puppy classes were of some help to us with training and socialising, it soon became apparent that he was under challenged and restless waiting around for his turn to “perform” and this was becoming stressful for everyone concerned.

Cai has always had human company the vast majority of the time and plenty of appropriate physical exercise, but it was not until I discovered your page that I found a training method that was kind, easy to understand, logical and effective.

I understand that, as with any small child, constant reminders and encouragement are required to produce good manners and behaviour, ie, you get out what you put in, but I have been really pleasantly surprised at how quickly, and enthusiastically, Cai responds to your training methods, right from the point of introduction. He is not stressed or cowed by the training but quickly understands what is required. The Jingler is very effective as reinforcement.

Cai is a precious and much-loved family member who’s life is too valuable to waste with unkind and ineffective training. He deserves the best and you are helping immeasurably to provide it.

He loves your products, too! Tooth hygiene could be an issue as we have tried most of the cheaper stuff (not rawhide, but other standard pet shop fare) and he shows no interest in any of them. Your variety of chewing products are the only thing he cares for.

Kind regards and many thanks again

I am really pleased the not surprised that the jingler worked for your dog. It always makes a massive difference but many people do not acknowledge the fact. Which is a shame as it is lovely to share your experiences and perhaps a picture of your dog..

brilliant, we have 6 collies in the family all have learned to behave quickly including the aptly named 'JIGGY' and i am always quoting from your website which annoys my vets, but we only recently lost our oldest 16yr collie who was not neutered and only ever got his initial injections despite being repeatedly chastised for my decisions. My dogs are healthy have shiny coats and we get many compliments on their behaviour as all are walked together.
thank you for your brilliant website and articles

I would love to see some pictures of your dogs and I am pleased that my techniques work. Fortunately, they always seem to make a massive difference to most if not all dogs.

I can't thank Stan enough for the advice offered when I visited the Hampton Hill shop today. Having a lively 12-week old sprocker spaniel refusing to walk on a lead and constantly jumping, Stan provided some cracking advice and simple tricks to solve both the jumping and the lead walking. I came in holding the puppy in my arms and left with him walking on the lead. Now having spent the afternoon on a short walk the puppy is now even better at home so on the whole, I can't thank Stan and the team enough! We have a completely transformed puppy :-)
